This pad just wants to float. Makes it a trip hazard. It wasn't much better when we cut it down to size of steps. Still lifted up making it not only a trip hazard but a dirt catcher. Sorry we purchased this item.

We bought this pool pad to go under our new pool steps for our above ground pool. The idea was to help protect the liner of the pool from the steps themselves. However, when we tried to install the pad, it would not stay on the bottom of the pool and just wanted to float. (Keep in mind I had 4 people, 2 in the pool and 2 on the deck helping) There was absolutly no way to make the pad stay on the bottom of the pool, even with trying to get the steps on top of the pad. All the pad wanted to do was to just float in the current of the pond while we kept trying to force it down under the steps. Maybe if the pool was drained completly and the pad was adhered to the liner, then it might stay down...Luckilly the majestic pool steps came with good suction cups that keep the stairs up off of the pool itself. So the liner was really just a waste of time and money.

Came in 2 days. Went right in pool and completely stuck to bottom. Easy to use. Love it!!
